Welcome to the world of healthy living! My name is Morgan Speik and I am a passionate Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist with over seven years of professional experience in the field. 

As an RDN, I have had the honor of working with a diverse group of patients in a nationally-ranked hospital in Orange County – from women struggling with fertility to pregnant and postpartum moms; from people navigating health conditions like heart disease, cancer, gastrointestinal concerns to others who are in good health and just want to stay that way; from the chronically ill to elite athletes competing at the highest levels.

My journey to becoming an RDN began with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and a minor in Biology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I then went on to complete a Supervised Practice Dietetic Internship program at Pepperdine University. After completing my education, I passed the national Registration Examination for Dietitians and started my career as an RDN.

After working as a clinical dietitian for seven years, my husband and I welcomed our first child – a sweet baby girl. I returned to the hospital part-time after maternity leave, but my heart was still back at home. This inspired me to leave my clinical position and start my own virtual private practice, where I can work one-on-one with clients to help them reach their health and wellness goals.

Throughout my journey, I have seen firsthand the powerful impact that nutrition can have on a person’s life. An unhealthy diet can lead to a host of issues, including increased lethargy, poor sleep, chronic disease, higher doses of medication, obesity, and depression. In contrast, a healthy diet can result in increased energy, better sleep, reduced medication, and overall happiness.
